TAAA is governed according to its Constitution and Bylaws and a series of Polices adopted by the Board of Directors over the years in what it determined are non-profit best practices.

Vision:  The Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association is recognized as a world class organization spreading the joy of astronomy throughout Arizona and beyond.

Mission:  To provide resources and opportunities for members and the community to learn about and share the joy of astronomy through educational activities, observing and imaging, and astronomical resources.
