The National Science Foundation (NSF) National Optical-Infrared Astronomy Research Laboratory (NOIRLab), Formerly National Optical Astronomy Observatory (NOAO) has an outreach program. It is based on Project ASTRO, developed by the Astronomical Society of the Pacific.

The Night Sky Network is a nationwide coalition of amateur astronomy clubs bringing the science, technology and inspiration of NASA’s missions to the general public. It is funded by NASA and managed by the Astronomical Society of the Pacific.
International Dark Sky Assn (IDA) supports the ongoing effort to preserve dark skies and starry nights – founded by TAAA Members.
The Astronomical Society of the Pacific supports amateur astronomers through many programs including Project ASTRO and the Night Sky Network. They Publish the Mercury magazine as well as journals for professional astronomers.
