DESCRIPTION:General Meeting and Lecture\nIntroductory Presentation 6:30 pm\nSpeaker: Al Anzaldua\, TAAA Member \nTopic: Moon to Moon to Mons \nTAAA Member Al Anzaldua will explain why humans would be wise to put in place infrastructure near or on the Earth’s Moon\, followed by a support facility on the Mars moon Deimos\, and finally on certain Mars Mons volcanoes. This would provide a sustainable path to settling the solar system. \nInvited Lecture 7:30pm\nSpeaker: Chris Walker\, Ph.D.\, Professor\, Steward Observatory \nTopic: Stratospheric Studies of Milky Way Protostars \nDr Chris Walker will discuss research taking place in Antarctica using stratospheric balloons to study protostellar systems in the Milky Way Galaxy.
