Tucson Stargazing Adventures (Small Group/Private/Resort Events)

Join us on a journey through the night skies to explore our Solar System, Nebulae, Star Clusters, Galaxies, and other exciting deep-sky objects.  You will see the beauty of the night sky or explore our very own Star during the day!

Tucson and Southern Arizona have almost 300 days of clear dark skies each year.  Our Astronomer Guides will take you on an incredible journey through the Cosmos.  We will explore the Solar System including the Moon, Saturn and its incredible rings, Jupiter and its many moons, and other planets depending on current visibility.

As we continue outward in the Milky Way Galaxy, we will explore Nebulae, Star Clusters, Multiple Star Systems, Stellar Nurseries, and other wondrous sights.  Outside our Milky Way, we will look at other Galaxies and maybe even a Supernova.  You will learn the history and science related to each object viewed.

We use a variety of telescopes and viewing options for all ages and capabilities to enjoy the night sky.  Some of our telescopes even include live video to see the Universe from an entirely different perspective with some objects in amazing color.  Whether you have 10 participants or 1,000, we have the telescopes and knowledgeable staff to host your stargazing event for an evening under dark Southern Arizona skies.  We bring everything needed for a guided tour of the skies.  Your guests will be amazed as the wonders of nature are revealed! We also offer small group events at our Chiricahua Astronomy Complex, 100 miles southeast of Tucson, AZ.

Don’t miss out — the unique dark southern Arizona skies offer an opportunity of a lifetime!  Low humidity and little artificial light combine to give you an unparalleled opportunity.

Let us bring a new level of fun and excitement to your outside events.  Our experienced astronomers will enhance any evening outing with a display of the sky that your guests will remember for a lifetime.  “Wow”, “That’s incredible”, and “I didn’t know you could see that from here” are common comments we hear during observing sessions.

We offer several stargazing options for any occasion to include events at our premiere dark site 100 miles southeast of Tucson, AZ called the Chiricahua Astronomy Complex (CAC). Events typically start 1/2 hour after sunset and are weather dependent. See below for a description of events and links to reservation request forms.

All events are weather dependent and require mostly clear skies to accommodate observing. Any changes will be disseminated to participants via email or text. We will NOT release email addresses or cell phone numbers to outside agencies. They will only be used for event change notification.

Information and Reservation Request

We do NOT recommend reserving any events in July and August as that is Tucson’s Monsoon season and will most likely have weather issues. To make a reservation or request availability / price quote, please complete the appropriate form linked below.
